Pringle of Scotland

Pringle of Scotland is one of a growing list heritage brands that has managed to remain relevant, hip and authentic. This 195 year-old Scottish knitwear company is credited with inventing two beacons of British style: the Argyle pattern (quickly adopted by the Duke of Windsor and ergo the rest of the fashionable set); and the twinset. I mean, what could they do for an encore? Well, how about their women's PreFall2011 collection, heavily influenced by their 1950s and 60s archives. Like Kate Middleton meets the Queen Mother. Trust me, wee lasses, you will want each and every look. Excellent for traipsing around Balmoral, or, really, anywhere else.
